PLR Content: The Best Quality Counts!

The quality of PLR articles ranges from okay to great to "I can't even read this!" Not surprisingly, if you want to make money from PLR, you need to start with good quality.

You could try using junk PLR, but the problem is that even if you manage to make it easier to read, the information itself will likely be inaccurate or downright dangerous. Especially when it comes to niches that touch on the health and well-being of others, it's vital to be responsible with the suggestions and ideas you share.

Even if you use the highest possible quality of PLR content, you may still want to edit it slightly, for the following reasons:

1) Make it Like Your "Voice"

Each of us has a certain "tone" we use in our writing, and you want to make your PLR content "sound" like you. Your subscribers and website visitors have probably gotten used to your style of writing (or your writer's if you always outsource your written material). If you start using material that differs dramatically in tone, it will have a diminished effect because it won't be like "you" (the "you" they are used to hearing from).

2) Branding

Obviously, it's a good idea to put your name, website and logo on anything you use to promote your business, and PLR material is no different. But it's even better if you first make the material "yours" by inserting your own comments, suggestions, and ideas. You don't have to completely rewrite it, but at least make it more original to you, compared to the exact copies that other people are using.

Now - how can you tell what is good quality PLR and what is junk?

The best way is to look at the samples provided. If you're buying just a pack of articles or an e-book as a one-time purchase, the seller should have provided an excerpt so you can see the quality. If they didn't, ask them for it. If you get no response, you might ask yourself why they don't want you to see the quality of their work.

Okay, maybe the seller never got your inquiry - it happens. If you know their name, do a Google search and see if they've submitted articles to directories or blogs. And if you just can't find anything written by this person (or don't know their name to search for it), you may want to find your content elsewhere.
