Get Started Using PLR: Basics You Need

All right, you've got some PLR content and you're ready to start using it to make money!

Here are a few basics you'll need for starters:

#1 - A Website or Blog

Obviously you need a "home base" where you can promote your PLR e-book or report - or if you are using PLR content to promote affiliate products, then you will want to first send buyers to your site/blog to capture email addresses. (More on that in a moment.) If you don't yet have a website or blog, don't worry - they can be set up very quickly, easily and affordably.

If you don't have a lot of money up front, you can get started with a free blog on Blogger.com - just keep in mind that using free tools means that you don't "own" your little piece of internet real estate, and it can disappear without notice. Blogger has deleted blogs without warning, and yours could easily fall into the same category.

If you can spare even $15 to get started, you can buy a domain name and one month of hosting and have peace of mind that your hard work won't go bye-bye in the blink of an eye.

#2 - An Autoresponder Service

It's not critical to have a mailing list to make money with PLR, but it definitely helps. When you have a solid mailing list of people who want to hear from you, it makes it so much easier to introduce new products to them (which could definitely be a solid PLR e-book or report). You can also send PLR articles (good ones) to your mailing list and use them to promote affiliate products or your own info products.

Two of the most popular autoresponder services are Aweber and Getresponse.

#3 - Time

Some PLR content is high quality enough that you could easily use it without changing a single word (like our Premium Weight Loss PLR Content!) - but even with quality material it's not a bad idea to change it up so it's more unique to you and your website.

You could combine a series of articles into a report and give it as a gift to your subscribers, or break up a PLR e-book and turn it into blog posts that pre-sell a related product.

Obviously this stuff takes time - but don't let that stop you! When you think about it, you make a one-time investment of time and energy transforming PLR into money portals that can continue to pay you for years on end. Is it worth the time you put into it? Most people who are already profiting from PLR would say Heck Yeah! :-)
