Changing the Face of PLR to Create New
Products
People often don't realize how much profit there is to be made
from a simple batch of PLR articles. "PLR" stands for private label rights, and it means that you have the right to
use the material as your own, depending on the license terms. Some PLR does have restrictions, but for the most
part you are allowed to modify the content and create derivative works from it.
Take a look at just some of the creative ways you can turn PLR
content into profits:
- Create Audio Files from PLR
Articles
Audio files (MP3) can easily be created from PLR articles, and
used in a variety of ways. You can give them away to your subscribers, submit them to Podcast directories to help
promote your website, or even sell them!
Software like Audacity is FREE, and you can use it to record
PLR articles into an MP3 format. To do this you will need a microphone, and a special plugin is required for
Audacity to create MP3 files. If you don't want to mess with the more technical aspects of audio recording, try
Audio Acrobat. For a small monthly fee you can use your telephone to call in and record your
articles.
- Turn an E-Book into an Audio
Book
Beyond PLR articles, you can even record an entire e-book into
audio form! You could sell the e-book version and include the audio version as a nice bonus, or even sell them
separately and double your profits.
- Turning PLR Articles into
Videos
With software like Camtasia, you can create simple videos that
include segments of PLR articles - or create a full "slideshow" using a service like Animoto. Load your videos onto
YouTube or other video sharing sites and let them pull a constant stream of visitors to your
website.
- Create a Report from PLR
Articles
If you have a pack of articles on the same topic, it's very
easy to compile them into a report. You may have to do some minor editing and rewriting to make the articles fit as
one long document, but most of the time this is quick and easy to do. Then you have a brand new report that you can
give away, use as an opt-in incentive, or even sell it outright from your website. Most reports that are around
25-40 pages long can easily sell for $7 to $20, depending on the topic.
- Turn PLR Audio or Video into Text
Documents
There are some PLR providers that offer PLR video and audio
files, and you can easily transcribe these into text! Create articles from audio files, or turn an audio book into
an e-book.
Again, be sure to check the license terms on each PLR pack you
buy. As long as the terms allow changes, these are some simple and fast ways to create brand new products to
multiply your profits.
